1. Scope of This Policy
Liferil offers two categories of user accounts, and the information we collect and share differs slightly depending on your account type:
- Health Seekers — individuals using the App to access health information, connect with doctors, and manage their own health records.
- Doctors / Health Experts — verified medical professionals using the App to build their professional presence, connect with patients and peers, and offer services such as consultations.
Sections below are marked as applicable to Health Seekers, Doctors, or All Users.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information Collected from All Users
- Contact information, such as name, email address, and phone number
- Demographic information, such as age, gender, and location
- Activity information, such as pages viewed, searches performed, and features used
- Non-personal information, such as device identifiers, IP addresses, and browser/device type
2.2 Additional Information Collected from Health Seekers
- Health information, such as medical history, medications, and treatments
- Documents you choose to upload, such as prescriptions, lab reports, and diagnostic records
2.3 Additional Information Collected from Doctors / Health Experts
- Professional information, such as medical qualification, clinical specialty, and medical registration number
- Practice information, such as clinic/hospital affiliation and consultation details, where provided

We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the App and its features
- Facilitate connections between Health Seekers and Doctors/Health Experts
- Communicate with you, including service updates, reminders, and support
- Personalise content and recommendations relevant to you
- Market our products and services, subject to your communication preferences
- Comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements
- Protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the public
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the App's services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, as described in Section 7 below.
6. Data Security
We deploy high-standard security measures to protect your data and periodically upgrade these measures to address prevalent and emerging risks of data breach and cyber-attacks. However, no online service can be guaranteed to be entirely secure, and we continuously work to minimise the risk of unauthorised access, loss, or misuse of data.

Depending on applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or update your personal information
- Request deletion of your account and personal data
- Withdraw consent for specific uses of your data, where consent is the basis for processing
- Opt out of marketing communications and manage notification preferences

8. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
